Cependant je ne classerais pas Tavern on The Green dans cette categorie. On paye pour le cadre pas pour la nourriture. Le decor est tres beau (meme si je trouve l'interieur un peu kitch et surchargee). Dans le meme genre, il y a la Boat House dans Central Park. Je ne connais pas la carte.
Sinon pour les bonnes adresses de grands restos, je vous conseille d'aller faire un tour sur le site de La Parisienne (un article il y a pas tres longtemps sur les etoiles Michelin), Dolce ou Delicatessen (les 3 sont dans ma liste de blogs a droite).

Le Beacon Hotel est a 2 pas de chez moi en effet. Moi j'adore l'Upper West Side, bien moins touristique que Midtown, avec une vraie vie de quartier.

Je pense que je viens de lire une grosse année ! passionnant pour un futur touriste à New york le 15 novembre. Par exemple, je pensais qu'en appuyant sur PH dans l'ascenseur, je pourrai trouver mon journal favori (je plaisante, jamais lu, c'est pas mes goûts ! )
Votre rubrique "mes adresses" et le guide de visite vont servir, mais dans la catégorie "restaurants" , avez-vous eu l'occasion d'aller dans ce qu'on appelle chez nous un grand restaurant ? ou un restaurant avec une vue et bon rapport qualité prix ?
On nous a parlé de "Tavern on the green" mais en voyant leur site çà a l'air kitchissime et les gens n'en disent pas du bien...
Notre hôtel sera le Beacon Hotel vers la 75eme rue je crois, dans le quartier que vous décrivez.
